CHAKRI BREAD ROLL

Ingredients
  • Boiled potatoes 3-4
  • Garam Masala 1 tsp
  • Red Chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Onion chopped 1/2 cup
  • Kasoori Methi 1 tsp
  • Carom seeds 1 tsp
  • Dry mint leaves 1 tsp
  • pomegranate seeds powder 1 tsp
  • Tamarind sauce 1 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves 1 tsp
  • Bread slices (sides cut off) 6
Method
  • Mash potatoes well. Add spices and chopped onion and mix well.
  • Place 2 slices bread with edge of one over the other and roll flat and thin.
  • Sprinkle water liberally on bread slices.
  • Place potato mixture over the flattened bread.
  • Press the mix thinly over bread.
  • Make bread roll and cut roll into 4 or 5 spirals
  • Fry in medium hot oil on medium heat on both sides.
  • Spiral bread roll are ready. Serve them with ketchup or green chutney.
