- Chicken breast (cut in strips) 2
- Red chilli 1 tsp
- Red chilli flakes (optional) 1 tsp
- Black pepper 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Green pepper small 1 (cut in julienne)
- Red pepper small 1 (cut in julienne)
- Onion chopped 1
- Garlic finely chopped 1 tbsp
- Ginger finely chopped 1 tbsp
- Lemon juice 1 tsp
- Oregano 1 tsp
- Wheat floor for dusting chicken
- Tomato ketchup 1 tbsp
- Tomato chopped 2
Method
- Add lemon juice, blackc pepper and salt in chicken. Marinate chicken for 30 minutes.
- Add oregano, red chilli flakes (optional) to wheat floor and mix well.
- Dust chicken strips in flour and coat well.
- Heat oil in pan and fry chicken till crisp and cooked well.
- Keep them on absorbent paper.
- Heat oil in pan and saute onion.
- When onion turns soft add ginger-garlic.
- When onion turns golden and crisp, add chopped tomatoes.
- Add salt, black pepper and chilli powder.
- Cook till oil starts to separate.
- Add oregano and tomato kethcup.
- Add bell peppers and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Lastly add fried chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes.
- Pepper chicken is ready. Serve with roti, paratha or as snack.
